My new old piano

When I was little my Mom bought a beautiful antique piano for me to take lessons on. While I didn't like playing the piano I always loved it. It was beautiful and I love antiques. Well several years ago my mom offered the piano to me so she could clear out some space. I was trying to be practical about our space here so I said no. I have regretted it ever since. I mentioned this to my Mom a few months ago. She felt really bad because she had wanted me to have her piano. So she offered to buy me a new one. Well an antique one I mean. We looked all over and finally found this one on ksl.com. It is absolutely B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L, well on the outside that is. It looks as though it was either restored or very babied. We think it is about a 1910 or so. However the inside is pretty bad. It has many keys that don't work and quite a few that are missing the ivory tops. It also came with a gorgeous stool that was pretty trashed. The stool is currently being replaced and we are having a guy come look at it here soon to fix the inside so it can be played. I am really hoping at least one of the girls will want to take lessons. But even if they don't I love it so much. It is my personality and fits so well in my living room with some of my other antiques. I am super excited about it!! Thanks Mommy!!!
